Vikes Sign Another Two

On Thursday the Vikes signed safety, Michael Boulware and defensive tackle, Kendrick Allen. Both should add depth.

I’m actually fairly excited about Boulware, I think he is good. Last season he was a backup for the Texans and he only really played on special teams. Boulware is somewhat of a tweener, who the Texans tried to use as a linebacker. The Vikes will use him as the primary backup to both Darren Sharper and Madieu Williams.

Allen sounds like another guy who is likely to be cut in Training Camp. Allen didn’t play in the NFL last year. He was a Packer in 2006 for two games until he hurt his foot and was put on injured reserve.

I like the Boulware signing and who cares on the Allen signing. However, still no help at quarterback or defensive end.
